Assignment 3A – My Entrepreneurship Story
During my freshman year in high school, I identified an unmet need that I was able to capitalize on. While scrolling through Craigslist looking for items that I could buy and then resell for a profit, I identified one market that I did not feel had been exploited. The opportunity identification was that of the overwhelming surplus of military gear owned by veterans. I noticed that most of these veterans were not willing to take the time to sell their gear piece by piece, but that they were willing to sell their collective gear in one lot for pennies on the dollar.
Throughout all of high school, I bought approximately a dozen different compilations of military gear from veterans, and I was able to resell the gear on eBay and at flea markets and yielded considerable profits. This was perhaps my first venture of entrepreneurship, identifying an unmet need, exercising opportunity identification.
I enrolled in ENT 3003 to help shape my knowledge of entrepreneurship as well as to help develop my entrepreneurial skills. This course is also a requirement for me to earn my BSBA.

WHY it exists: My dog hears a noise and barks to scare away any possible threat and to alert myself that he heard a noise outside and is keeping watch.
Reflection:
I did not find it difficult to come up with this list of 20 bugs. Most of these bugs are things that bother me on a daily or near daily basis. These are things that I experience constantly, and it was easy for me to recall these constantly reoccurring bothers of mine. I enjoyed this assignment.
